Her experience in the TV industry has resulted in a range of amazing opportunities off camera
as well as on camera. After the passing of her 35-year-old Brother from a Heart Defect

with homeless children, Niika created her own charity organisation: “The Mateship Program”
which was successfully introduced into schools around Australia.

is working tirelessly to produce her first feature documentary, which shines a light on people
suffering from Neurodiversity and showcases how these people find a place in society
that is full of hope and meaning. “It’s an absolute honour to now be part of
The Shaun Miller Foundation, I hope to also carry my brothers legacy into the work we do here
and to make both my brother and Shaun proud of how we help other families
experiencing the tradgedy of congenital heart illnesses” Niika remarks in regards to collaborating with the Foundation, an Australian foundation that focuses on ‘mending broken hearts’
